Jurors in the trial of the man accused of lighting the Childers backpackers hostelfire will hear that ROBERT PAUL LONG told a witness he didn't like backpackers and wasopenly antagonistic to a hostel resident before the fire.

In his opening address today, prosecutor DAVID MEREDITH told the jury they'll alsohear terrible accounts of what happened on the night of the fire and some witnesses --including survivors of the fire -- may appear emotional or angry.
