NSW: Cyanide stolen from house
New South Wales Police are appealing for public assistance after cyanide powder was
stolen from a house in the state's north's west.
They say a bottle of cyanide was stolen from a house in Narrabri between 3pm and 8:30pm
(AEDT) yesterday.
The bottle was later found in the rear yard of the Wade Street property .. but police
say the powder is missing.
Police are concerned the thief may mistake the powder for an illicit drug.
Anyone who may know the location of the cyanide should contact police on tripple-0
and should not to touch .. inhale or inject the substance.
If anyone has used or come into contact with the substance they should seek medical
attention immediately.
